The house

Dune Rose sits over the garage of a Seagrove cottage, with its own stair, its own porch, and no shared walls that matter. Inside: a king primary that catches the morning sun, a second bedroom with two twins that convert to a king, and a living room built around a wall of windows facing the pines.

The kitchen is small and serious — a full range, sharp knives, a proper coffee setup — and the screened porch holds a table for four where most guests eat every meal. The beach access at the end of the lane is a six-minute walk with chairs; we timed it carrying two.

Because the house is compact, it books first in spring and fall with couples and writers. It sleeps four and means it: no air mattresses, no sleeper-sofa math.

From the guest book

“The photos undersold it, if anything. We walked to the sand each morning and the car sat still for six days.”

Dana, Nashville, TN · May 2026

“Two en-suites for two couples meant no scheduling showers. The stairs are steep with luggage, so pack light.”

Marcus, Atlanta, GA · October 2026

Good to know

Where exactly is the beach access?

Two doors down at the end of the lane — a sandy path over the dune, about 350 yards door to sand. We leave two chairs, an umbrella and a cooler cart in the storage closet.

Is the carriage stair difficult?

It's a full staircase with a handrail, not a ladder — fine for most guests, but worth knowing if stairs are hard for anyone in your party. The bedrooms and living space are all on one level once you're up.

Can we work from here?

Yes. Fiber wifi runs 300+ Mbps and the desk nook faces the pines. Video calls are fine; the house is quiet on weekdays outside turnover day.
