Privacy, plainly.
We ask for the minimum needed to hold your dates and run your stay, and we don't sell or share it beyond that job.
What we collect
When you enquire or book: your name, email, phone number, dates, party size, and anything you tell us about your stay. When you stay: the door-code log for your dates and any messages you send us. When an owner enquires: the house details you share.
What we do with it
Hold dates, confirm bookings, run cleanings, and reach you during your stay. That's the list. We don't sell personal information, don't buy lists, and don't send marketing email you didn't ask for — the only emails are the ones your booking needs.
Who sees it
Our managers, our cleaners (dates and access only), and the payment processor that handles your card. Everyone else — including the house's owner — sees only what's needed to host you well.
How long we keep it
Booking records stay seven years for tax purposes. Enquiries that never book are deleted after two years. Message us at stay@saltmarshcottagerentals.com any time to see, correct, or delete what we hold about you.
