The house
Egret trades proximity for space: a half-acre lot, a plunge pool with a sun shelf, and four en-suite bedrooms so nobody shares a bath. The twelve-minute walk is the honest number — which is why six bikes, an e-bike, and a wagon come with the house and turn it into four minutes.
Inside, the kitchen was redone for cooks: a 36-inch range, two ovens for holiday weeks, and a pantry that swallows a Costco run. The living room wall folds open to the pool terrace, making the whole ground floor one long indoor-outdoor room.
Evenings end at the fire table under the string lights — far enough from the road that the only sound is the pool pump and the pines.

Is twelve minutes too far with kids?
On foot it's a genuine twelve — flat sidewalk, but long for toddlers. That's why the house carries six bikes, an e-bike with a kid seat, and a wagon. Most families ride and call it four minutes.
How deep is the plunge pool?
Four feet throughout with a sun shelf for small children. Gated and alarmed per code; the shelf is where every toddler in the family ends up.
Can we host a holiday dinner?
Yes — the double ovens, the table for ten, and a pantry that fits the whole run make Egret our most-booked Thanksgiving house. Book fall dates early.
