The house

Fiddler is the house guests rebook before they've unpacked: a farmhouse plan with a king primary downstairs, two bunk-friendly bedrooms up, and a porch that runs the full width of the house. The dune crossover sits nearly straight out front — two minutes at a stroll, timed with a cooler.

Inside, the living room opens to the kitchen so the cook stays in the conversation, and the outdoor shower off the back deck gets used more than the indoor ones from March through October. Dogs are welcome here with prior approval, and the fenced side yard is why.

Three full beach setups — chairs, umbrellas, a wagon — live in the garage, so a party of eight can outfit the whole day without renting a thing.

From the guest book

“Our dog claimed the porch rocker on day one, and honestly so did I. The outdoor shower has real hot water, which matters in April.”

Katie, Birmingham, AL · June 2026

“Two minutes to the sand is real — we counted. The bunk room meant the cousins finally shared without a single argument.”

Rachel, Memphis, TN · August 2026

Good to know

Can we bring our dog?

Yes, with prior approval — one or two dogs under 50 lbs, $150 per stay. The side yard is fenced and we leave bowls, towels and a tie-out for the beach (leashes required on the sand).

How steep are the stairs?

The primary bedroom is downstairs, so anyone who avoids stairs can live on the ground floor. Upstairs holds the two kids' rooms and a second living nook.

Is there shade on the beach nearby?

The crossover lands on a wide, flat stretch. We provide three umbrellas and the wagon to haul them — set up anywhere you like, no vendor rows in front of this access.
