The house
Salt Cotton is the house on our homepage for a reason. Five bedrooms sleep twelve — three kings, a queen, and a bunk room with full bunks — and the pool terrace was designed as the second living room: deep seating, a dining table for twelve, and a sunset view straight down the beach.
The kitchen runs two dishwashers and a double oven for the weeks when all twelve eat together, and the pantry holds the record for most Publix bags in one trip (forty-one, set in 2024). Upstairs, the primary suite faces the gulf with a balcony made for morning coffee.
The dune walkover at the lane's end is four minutes and lands on Blue Mountain's widest sand — lupine in the dunes in March, empty beach in September.

When should we book for peak weeks?
Salt Cotton's June weeks and Thanksgiving typically book nine to twelve months out. Shoulder weeks in May and October often open three to four months ahead — ask about those first.
Is there room for a large group dinner?
Yes — the terrace table seats twelve, the kitchen runs two dishwashers, and we'll arrange a private chef or a low-country boil on the lawn with a week's notice.
What's the parking situation?
Garage plus driveway fits five cars. For bigger reunions, the church lot two blocks over allows overflow with a $50 weekly pass we arrange for you.
