The house
Tabby is named for its walls — oyster-shell tabby stucco, the old coastal building material, made new. Four bedrooms sleep eight across two floors: two king primaries (one up, one down) and two queen rooms, so two couples each get a proper retreat.
The pool terrace faces west for sunset swims, and the summer kitchen means dinner happens outside most nights. Inside, the great room seats ten at a single cypress table built from a fallen Grayton pine.
The walk to the Western Lake outfall beach is seven minutes through the pines — or five by bike, with four cruisers in the carport.

Good to know
Is the pool heated?
October through April the pool is heated to 82°F at no extra charge — tell us before arrival so it's warm on day one. In summer it runs at ambient, usually the low 80s.
How's the walk with small kids?
Flat and shaded the whole way, about seven minutes adult pace. We leave a wagon, and the lane has almost no car traffic — most families bike it in five.
Can the two families cook together?
Easily. The range seats big pots, there are two dishwashers' worth of settings (one machine, run twice), and the cypress table fits ten with serving room to spare.
